When I first started this blog it was with the hopes of having a future farm. Time went by, that hope went unfulfilled, and the blog changed directions a few times.
Now it’s time to bring it back full circle, back to it’s roots – back to homesteading. There will still be family updates, adventures, and deep little thoughts about life, but there will finally be a piece of what’s been missing all along – our homesteading adventures!
We’ll start out small with urban backyard homesteading as much as we can while renting. But in the not too distant future, there might be a chance that we might just be able to buy our homestead land and build our home. We are very excited for this, as we (I) have been waiting for almost 2 decades for this dream to come true!
But this is what I have been dreaming of since I was a little girl – to raise my babies on a farm and live life sitting under a front porch watching the sunset together. Here’s to dreaming.
